Community Arts Program – Back By Popular Demand
Want to learn new skills in a fun and creative environment?
FocusOne Health, together with TAFE SA are pleased to offer our free foundation skills program “In The Name Of Art” supported through the Government of South Australia.
“In The Name Of Art” is a ten week interactive community art program targeted at people aged 17+ who are unemployed & not enrolled in any study. The program is aimed at improving literacy and numeracy skills and ultimately supporting participants to link into further earning or learning opportunities. At the completion of the course participants will obtain a TAFE SA accredited unit from the Foundation Skills Training Package, Unit FSKOCM03 – Participate in simple spoken interactions at work.
The program will see participants learn about different forms of art and discover their own creativity from a variety of local artists. Participants will meet and network with key stakeholders from a range of local community services.

The course commences on Wednesday, 19th February, 2020.
