headspace NOW, which launched in November 2023, has eliminated the wait time for young people to access mental health services. Young people can now access a service when they feel they need support; without a long wait time or the commitment for ongoing sessions, particularly if individuals are unsure if counselling is for them. Feedback has shown young people are happy with headspace Now and would recommend it to their friends.

headspace is a cost-free service available to 12–25-year-olds through self-referral, GP’s, schools, service providers or family and friends. The referral form can be found here
