Mount Gambier Head to Head

We are thrilled to share some important developments that will further enhance the accessibility and support provided by Mount Gambier Head to Health. From August 21st 2023, we extended opening hours to five days per week, allowing us to offer our services, including mental health support, information and assessment from Mondays through Fridays. This expansion ensures that the Mount Gambier community has increased access to the assistance they need, when they need it.

To make the experience even more comfortable, our friendly team of Peer Support Workers will be there to greet people as they enter Mount Gambier Head to Health’s interim address at 13A Sturt Street. We understand that seeking help can be daunting, and our Peer Support Workers are dedicated to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making the journey towards better mental health a little easier.

We encourage everyone to explore the wealth of resources available on the Head to Health website at www.headtohealth.gov.au. Additionally, people can reach out to the Head to Health telephone service on 1800 595 212 to connect with the support and assessment.  We are committed to ensuring that mental health resources and assistance are readily available to the Mount Gambier community.
